As a senior analyst at DisplaySearch, Jae-Hak Choi specializes in flat panel display equipment and manufacturing technology. He is a recognized expert in LCD manufacturing processes, particularly in areas involving TFT, CF, cell and module processes, materials and equipment. Since 1999, Jae-Hak has gained extensive experience with cell processes, including One Drop Filling (ODF) processes, ultra-violet irradiation liquid crystal alignment, and TFT array inspection. Before joining DisplaySearch, Jae-Hak worked as a senior application engineer at Orbotech, stabilizing systems and improving defect detection for TFT substrate. He also researched and developed small STN and TFT devices at HYLCD. Prior to this, Jae-Hak worked at ADP, developing new processes for ODF systems. He also developed photo-alignment techniques for LGD.

Education: Choi has a master’s degree in liquid crystal alignment from Soong-Sil University.
