John Jacobs

John Jacobs is the Director of Notebook Market Research at DisplaySearch. He provides expert research and analysis of the notebook market and authors several DisplaySearch research reports. Before joining DisplaySearch, Jacobs held the position of Global Supply Manager at Apple Computer where he was responsible for strategic sourcing decisions, pricing, negotiations and the investigation of emerging technologies for the company's flat panel displays and DRAM products. Under Jacobs' watch, Apple's LCD product line grew from four systems to more than a dozen displays. Before Apple, he served as the Sales Business Analyst for Quantum. Jacobs holds Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Psychology.
