Paul Gagnon is Director of Global TV Research at DisplaySearch. Paul has more than 14 years of experience in the Consumer Electronics industry in retail, manufacturing and market research. Paul is primarily involved with TV market tracking, forecasting and analysis as well as consulting and conferences and has been cited as an industry expert in numerous publications such as Wall Street JournalThe New York Times and Los Angeles Times. Paul is also the senior analyst for the North America region and chairperson for the annual DisplaySearch USFPD conference. Prior to joining DisplaySearch, Paul worked as the Senior Marketing Analyst for Hitachi America LTD’s Home Electronics Division, forecasting and analyzing volatile TV and video market trends and had extensive involvement in product development and strategic planning. He was also responsible for developing and implementing retail sales incentive promotions at Hitachi and was a member of the CEA’s Video Division Market Research Committee.

Education: Paul has a bachelor’s degree in marketing and a master’s in business administration from San Diego State University.
