Tim Bush President and General Manager of DisplaySearch Tim is responsible for managing the overall sales and operations and for expanding global coverage for DisplaySearch, an NPD Group company. Before taking on his new role with DisplaySearch, Bush was vice president of Business Development at NPD and managed the DisplaySearch acquisition in 2005. Prior to that, he was president of NPD Houseworld where he managed overall operations for NPD's Appliance and Home Products Divisions. Tim came to NPD as the General Manager of the Consumer Electronic Business. Prior to joining NPD, he held executive positions at American Express, ACNielsen, and Information Resources. His initial years were focused on marketing and sales at Del Monte Foods. |

Satoshi (Sam) Matsuno President of DisplaySearch Japan Sam has 15 years of display experience from Matsushita and Compaq in the US and Japan. For 10 years, he held senior positions at Compaq in strategic planning, display procurement, market research and flat panel engineering. He has been an invited speaker at FPD conferences around the world including LCD International, Electronic Display Forum (keynote) and Fine Process Technology. Sam has also been published in most Japanese display magazines including Nikkei Microdevices, Nikkei's Flat Panel Display Yearbook, Electronic Journal and Press Journal. In addition, he pioneered the industry's first LCD/CRT price penetration curve and coined the term "mega-note." He has excellent bilingual skills and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Hiroshima University. |

Paul Semenza Senior Vice President, Analyst Services Paul is responsible for managing the worldwide analyst teams at DisplaySearch. Previously Paul served as Vice President of Display Research for iSuppli Corporation from 2000-2008 and for Stanford Resources, Inc. from 1997-2000. Prior to Stanford Resources, Paul was a Program Officer at the Computer Science and Telecommunications Board of the National Research Council, where he directed studies on IT policy, and was an Analyst for the US Congress Office of Technology Assessment (OTA), covering emerging technologies such as flat panel displays. Paul received his Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and Master's degree in Electro-optics from Tufts University. In 1994, he received a Master's degree in Public Policy from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. |

Yoshio Tamura Senior Vice President of DisplaySearch As a Senior Analyst, Yoshio is known for his keen insight and his excellent relationships with panel and key component suppliers. He has been an invited speaker at many display conferences in Japan and Taiwan and has published a number of extremely informative reports on Quarterly TFT LCD Cost Model. Yoshio joined DisplaySearch in 2000 after serving for nine years as a market analyst at Techno Systems Research, a respected Tokyo-based market research firm. David Hsieh Vice President of the Greater China Market David came to DisplaySearch from HannStar Display, a leading TFT LCD producer, where he was a key account manager responsible for both notebook PC and LCD monitor accounts. Prior to two years in HannStar's sales and marketing department, He served for a total of five years as production planner and production engineer at HannStar's TFT LCD module line and Hitachi Kaohsiung's STN LCD module line. David is fluent in Taiwanese, Mandarin, Japanese and English and holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from Chung-Yuan Christian University. |

Hyun-Seung (HS) Ahn President of DisplaySearch Korea As director of global strategic marketing for four years in the US at AKT, Inc., an Applied Materials company, HS was responsible for market intelligence, market forecast, technical marketing, marketing communication and strategic alliances. During seven years in the TFT LCD business at Samsung Electronics in Korea, HS did strategic product planning, global marketing, investment strategic planning for next generation substrates, and managed international strategic alliances. HS was in chip design, business planning management, and marketing management in the semiconductor business at Samsung Electronics, including four years at Samsung Electronics Japan in Tokyo. He speaks Korean, Japanese and English. He has a Bachelor's degree in electronic engineering from Sogang University in Seoul. |
